I can't name one off the top. I don't think they've had one this year.
But the point is....If there is enough interest in a fight, it will likely happen (as long as its not Mayweather/Pacquiao).

How is it a ridiculous question when we're almost 3/4 of the way through the year? The split took place at the midway point of March? The OPs point about the rarity of GBP working together with Top Rank being even more affected by this split is absolutely right. How is this even up for debate?

It is a ridiculous question when you want two networks to join forces to make a fight only after 5 months of having a split competition. You do realize that it takes 3-4 months of preparation for a single fight, right?. The OP was openly stating that GoldenBoy and Top Rank never work together, which was proven to be false on numerous occasions.

There's already all kinds of interest for certain fights that would require both promotional entities' involvement:

    Quillin vs Golovkin
    Marquez/Bradley/Rios/Alvarado/Crawford vs Matthysse/Garcia/Peterson
Mares vs Rigondeaux (already failed because of this)

None of these fights are getting made, nor is there even talk of them happening.

Ok, then, tell me how soon you expect to see the two work together to make a fight? That way I can come back and top this thread later when **** all has happened.

Such things take time and a major fight/offer. Why was Tyson vs Lewis considered by both networks?, because there was a lot of demand and money behind it. If you expect them to start working together after only 5 months of being in serious competition then you're way off. As I said, the thread started was discussing Top Rank and Golden Boy working together and as was proven many times(Hatton vs Pacquiao, Mosley vs Concreto, Hopkins vs Pavlik and others) before, they did work together with one significant major fight involving Golden Boy's Founder and owner.

That won't be happening. Pacquiao is not contractually bound to HBO. Mayweather won't be fighting him anytime soon regardless. But if they did fight, Showtime would have exclusive coverage.

So it is. I guess he left and came back?

I think Pacquiao should do the same.

Arum said he'd only work with GB if it's a mandatory situation, since he doesn't want to take away a title opportunity for his fighter.

No, he's not, but that's an example of HBO vs Showtime right there, before you even add in the promotional animosity.

They were working together from 2007-2008 after they settled the Pac lawsuit.
