Because Floyd doesn't let them. The only time Floyd is aggressive is against Ellerbe.

it's how tarver took roy out.where roy made his mistake was firing a straight right but falling back with a check hook instead of sliding out.

Because Mayweather avoids slick black fighters. He's been fighting 2D Mexican fighters since Judah. Also everyone has shorter reach, height and slower. You can't outbox someone who is faster and longer even if you have the skills.

    :deal

I was thinking this the other day, I want to see Floyd fight other black fighters in the US, stop fighting these other guys.

Its like a college math student sitting in an elementary math class, just shining on everybody because their not on the college level. This is Floyd.

And the minute there was even a rumor that Mayweather was even considering such a fight (Devon Alexander), this forum lit up like a Christmas tree with folks b!tching and complaining about 'ducking' and other silliness.

You can't really fight that style against a faster longer armed boxer which mayweather is most of the time. Are there any unusually tall fast handed fighters from 147-154? There was PW at one point but no one since then.

That means they would have to outbox the best boxer around. The only way they figure they can get him is to be tougher the he is. It boils down to primal instincts when nerves and under pressure. Fight or flight. Boxing would mean they need a high amount of self control under the situation.
