Two genuine 5 star fights, two of the best to be made. The rest of the card isn't great but it matters little when the two main fights are as good as they are.

Would be a perfect 10 if the PPV only featured the two top fights. The other two fights bring it down significantly. Two potential stinkers should not have been paired with two of the most anticipated fights of the of the year.

I wanna see a thread where you write something in detail not just a question with 'discuss'

    Matthysse-Garcia is a great matchup.

Mayweather-Alvarez is okay, but the catchweight/drained Canelo makes it less interesting.

The other two fights are not interesting.

The best card in recent memory. There hasn't been a card this good in a decade.

    A clear 10/10.

Let's see the main event is valued around 5/10. The co-feature is 2.5/10. The chief-supporting fight is 1.25/10 and the opener is 1.25/10.

Main event is 4.5/10. I believe Floyd's style matches well to beat Canelo. Still a top match up to make and a fun one on paper. 4.5.

2.5/10 for the co-feature. We have such an even, enticing match up here. Easy to give it full credit. 2/5.

Chief supporting bout is 0.9/10. It's a good fight. Not a great representation of our sport on a PPV with two rough, push-n-shove fighters. Can't rate it that high, but appreciate it.

For an opener, this is a good and exciting fight of fringe contenders. I think it could be a war. 1.1/10. Cano vs Theophane put a smile on my face.

9/10 is the rating I give it. Top quality PPV.

About a 6-7. It's a pretty decent to good card, but Molina-Smith and Theophane-Cano aren't PPV fights. Molina-Smith is a somewhat significant fight given that it has a world title belt on the line, but it'll be a stinker. Theophane-Cano meanwhile has the potential to be a fun little fight, but has no significance whatsoever. These two fights would be better served as a special ShoBox card. (Which is what Molina-Smith was until Smith had to delay it)

The main event is good. If I had to make a list of fights I'd like to see, I'm sure Mayweather-Canelo would be in the top 20, but it isn't the be all end all fight. Like Mayweather's last fight the co-feature shits all over his fight. Matthysse-Garcia is the only real fight worth paying money for. And that's where the real excitement comes from.

Having this fight on the PPV came as such a shock that this fight is carrying the PPV. But, much like a single on the radio you hear it and it's like "Oh, man what a great song, I have to buy this album," and you come to find out that the album really wasn't all that good besides that one brilliant song. That's the way this card is.

When you cut through the hype and bull****, it's really not that amazing of an event. It isn't bad by any means, but not just some amazing event that people are making it out to be. There have been better cards.
