Good thread OP :deal To all those complaining - glass jaws DO exist in boxing and shall be discussed. Personally, I still think American glass shatters that little bit sweeter but chin-checking is an international field of expertise. :deal
Yeah, no kidding. The fanboys and deniers are out in full force this evening. They can't seem to accept that one of their heroes got his suspect chin brutally exposed. The reality, of course, is that glass chins DO exist in boxing, and Nathan Cleverly clearly has one!! :nod
Zakman, the one dimensional idiot poster strikes again. No, clev has a good chin, but it matters not considering who he just fought.
Zakman is a 50yo who has never had a fight in his life & has been floored by a woman This chin schtick is pure projection, Zakman has the worst chin in the world.
Not this time, he took a hellacious amount of incoming before he went down. Foolish game plan for Cleverly though
:good Thankyou some of the guys on here are just slow. Kovalev Ko's everyone, are they all glass jaws?atsch
He has 20 KO's from 23 fights. Clearly there were 3 fighters who didn't have the kind of glass Cleverley is packing and has been hiding all this time.:deal
Cleverly certainly doesn't have a granite chin, but it isn't pure glass either. On a scale of 1 through 10, 1 being David Price and 10 being Wach, I'd say he's a 3.5
I would say good call if you didnt write in every prediction of a fight 'he might be packing a glass jaw' Your basically like Dwyer he picks the underdog everytime then when he gets it right he feels smart You say every fighter has a glass jaw then when one gets stopped you feel like you got it right The life of a internet troll, suicide would be a better option tbh
it wasnt his jaw,he took the punches to the head.kovelev had pure powered shots which rattled his brain in his skull. clev wasnt right after the first knock down.
I've said before that Cleverly is a knockout waiting to happen - he clearly doesn't have a strong chin. Is there any fighter that is lanky, gangly, has long, thin legs and a long, thin neck that does have a good chin. That body type is made for knockouts.
I agree with this :deal Very disappointing way for him to loose his title. I thought he had more skill. Their was no head movement at all, just macho showboating as he thought he could take Kovalevs power......BAAAAD idea! What the f**k was his corner telling him and why didn't his dad pull him out after 3rd. He didn't know what week it was when the REF! helped him back to his corner....what was that about???atsch
Kova would KO every single American light heavy. Everyone has a glass chin facing that power. This forum is populated by ******s.
