LOL:roflatsch. Overeem has one of the worst chins ive ever seen, he doesn't get KO'd, he gets annihilated every single time. He's nothing without his roids. No chin, no heart.
Horrible performance. Slow as ****, and was walking into Browne like he wanted to GKTFO. Does he want out of his contract with UFC or something? He shouldnt get paid for that showing last night.
To be fair Overeem really tryed to finish him off after having him hurt. There are some guys in smaller weight divisions that would have been tired after that big flurry. I do agree though, his chin isn't that great, and I think he did work on his stamina this fight (looked in better shape, wasn't completely dead after trying to finish him) but I don't think he worked enough. To be honest I was caught up in the Overeem hype. I think some of his greatness was his roids but even if he were on those I'm not certain he could beat the likes of a Cain or Dos Santos. He has the size, the power (roids or no roids), the striking ability, but unfortunately he has the dumbness, lack of heart, and lack of cardio.
Overeem is a disgrace to cb sports.... He only won the k-1 GP in 2010 due to roiding and fighting already injured fighters in the semis as well as the final... complete fraud.
I don't think his defence is awful and I don't think he was 'plodding forward' due to having no respect as Rogan kept saying. The truth is he gasses so badly so quickly he can't even hold his hands up or move his head. He knows how to defend and probably wants to but he looks like he's been wandering through a desert for 6 months. He shuts down completely. I'd love to see what cardio he does in the run up to a fight. It's his biggest weakness and actually the one thing that can be improved in every single case. No excuse really.
K-1 level striking at its best again. Bob Sapp beat the greatest K-1 fighter of all time twice in demolition jobs with zero kickboxing experience.
Ustinov and Skelton were mid-level K-1 guys, they've had decent careers in boxing so far. now imagine if the likes of Le Banner, Bernardo, cro cop and others switched over to boxing in their PRIMES. they'd do at least as good if not better. Overeem is not even a top 15 k-1 HW of all time, not even close.
