I think PAC fans want to make manny look better and would by a landslide say of course jmm beat John. Never discredit a guy who is competitive with your favorites.

Has anyone actually cared enough to watch John in his recent fights?
I have'nt, but if his fights with Rocky Juarez are any indication, he's lost more than a few steps and is'nt the slickster he used to be.

Juarez is lead footed and he was able to get to John late in the fight, both time almost having John out in the last rounds of their fights.

Since Juarez II he experienced both a resurgence (although even there he was doing more flat-footed infighting as he doesn't have the legs to move like he once could) and then a regression. He is currently about the same as or worse than his form in Juarez I.

I think alot of Pac fans are resigned that Marquez has Pacquiao's number and would like to think that another fighter has Marquez' number.
They hate the fact that Marquez could be rated higher all-time, so to discredit him, they say John beat him. :nut

The John that fought Marquez was springy with his legs. That fighter would have to fight a survival fight against any grade A featherweight to just survive.

The John that fought Juarez twice would get eaten alive by any grade A featherweight.

Have you seen John's fights recently?
He's been a featherweight an awfully long time.
I'd suspect he could be having trouble making the 126 lbs limit.

because anyone worth a shi t has another belt....so 7 other guys hold belts that could potentially kick his ass at any time....and he aint fighting ANYONE else with a belt (pulse)

    No need to deny anything.
If JMM is cheating or even if he's not and just training the right way with Heredia. Uf Heredia ever gets caught in another PED scandal, its not going to look good on JMM.
So dont worry about it, let history decide the merits of JMM's brutal KO of the Pacroid! :yep

I posted a thread a while back about the Marquez-John fight. If anyone is saying it was a robbery, watch the damn fight. It's boring as hell, but features a tactical battle. Marquez pretty much gave John the fight, style wise. He didn't pressure him at all. It was pathetic. John is a great fighter and kudos to him.

Thats not what this thread is about but indeed I'd encourage everyone here to watch for themselves.
You'll have a hell of a time coming up with a round that you can say, "definitely that was a John round."

Theres only so much a fighter can do with a good fighter intent on just surviving.

Did Marquez shine? No! But neither did Pacquiao vs Clottey or Mosley who were strictly in survival mode, yet Pacquiao on the cards won those fights going away as should Marquez have vs John.

No need to argue here, the people should just watch the fight for themselves if they're interested.

I leave those accusations to hypocritical bitter fanboys who find the steroid excuse less laughable than JMM beating Pac because he stepped on his toes or was wearing the wrong sox.

Let me know when you have some real proof and I'll be more than happy to discuss JMM's and PAC's roid use with you.:deal

All they have to do is ask for the fight, but most promoters want the fast $ & don't mind leaving John as the established Champion in 126. They all take the $ & walk away from legacy, what I see is an undefeated Champion.

Chris John is still 2 fights away from becoming an All time Great, if anybody has a problem with that. Put him in the ring with someone who can do what the last 48 victims of his failed to do, thats the reality man...everybody bad mouths Christian John but they know they will get schooled in the ring :yep
