Really after 1 loss atsch I mean does anyone think that the kid can use a better trainer ? Source : *******scene
Clev is a proud man, and a beating like that in front of his hometown crowd must of gotten to him, i don't think he should quit, just take some time off and think about what he can do to become a better fighter in the future
He needs to get that ****ing tube Vince out his corner, after sunglassgate in the US that man should never be allowed in public again.
I agree with this, kinda. He should have seen what Wank was doing all along. It seems Cleverly wanted the good fights, and got one. Except you can't go from Karpency to Kovalev in the span of a few fights and not expect exactly what happened.
He should quit. He got absolutely destroyed and I really see no comeback for him. On top of that he just flat out sucks (riding on top of Calzaghe). Kovalev took his soul.
From when the bookies had Kovalev as the favourite when it was in Cleverlys country he shoulda just pulled out lol he thought he was gonna win
That applies to Kovalev as well. He can't go from Nathan Cleverly to one of the top guys at 175. I have a feeling Kovalev can't take a punch.deal I've noticed that whenever he gets so much as tapped,he clears out like Dracula at a noon time Garlic party. Just watch him. I bet Hopkins sees it....i KNOW John David Jackson sees it....and everybody else at 175. Kovalev was Bernard Hopkins' manditory but his handlers thought the better of it and moved on.:deal If he's not ready for a 50 year old guy then they better keep him away from Stevenson or even Chad Dawson If he's not ready for the Hopkins test then WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU? It's not like he's 22 years old. Big head + Skinny neck = KTFO We get so caught up in what he's doing to people we lose sight of the red flags. He can dish it out but I BET he can't take it:hi: I see him at 168 with a new trainer in a few months:rofl Just watch..
you're right, he must have a bad chin because he doesn't stick it out and let his opponents punch him on it. up until now, in fact, he's never been hit on the chin; that's why he's undefeated. darnell boone didn't hit him on the chin at all in their first fight, he was just being considerate. he did hit stevenson, and he stopped stevenson. he also put ward down. but with kovalev, he just didn't hit him; he wanted to be nice and to be his friend.
I really hope he doesn't. His spirit of being a fighter who is willing to take on the toughest challenge is what boxing needs more of. If only he could develop a better form of defense against big punchers he could still do very well in the game. Maybe he will do so now that he knows his chin can fail on him.
