Cmon you know you love it. I think he is a ****ing great commentator, and when he gets hype it is usually because the fight warrants it. Especially when the guy who is supposed to lose comes out and gets an upset. You can tell he loves rooting for the underdog. I would love to see him on HBO.

Atlas could never accept working for anyone who's agenda he had to follow. For that reason, HBO would never seek to hire Atlas in the first place.

Would have loved to have seen Atlas and Lampley butt heads.

A big reason he has always been a **** trainer. It's all about Teddy, always has been, always will be. This drama ***** is a legend only in his own mind.

Atlas can definitely rub people the wrong way. He's got a huge ego no doubt, but I'd rather hear his own opiniated bias come out than the scripted agenda driven bias that comes from the commentators on HBO.

With Atlas, at least you know that whats coming out of his mouth is his own opinion that he actually believes.

Thank you for this thread. Hopefully ESPN or Teddy read this damn thing. Teddy is an idiot. Doesn't know **** anymore... He is extremely bias and wrong every time he analyzes

It'll be interesting to see if he has any irrational bias against the Iron Mike Promotions fighters this weekend.

    Argenis "La Tormenta" Mendez
    Claudio "The Matrix" Marrero
    Alexei "The Mexican-Cuban" Collado
    Ed "The Lion" Parades
    Albert "Prince" Bell

I missed the broadcast, did he do the analogy about body shots being like CDs that a banker invests in? That ****'s entertaining as ****.

I've never understood the hate against Teddy. I've always loved his commentating in fights and in documentary specials. He is a genuine fan of boxing, he is genuinely knowledgeable about boxing, and he is passionate.
I'd take that over a generic, well spoken, objective, professional commentator. You know the ones. They sit there pretending to know what they're talking about, or pretending to care what is going on, it's only a job for them and it shows.

Teddy's comments make even a dull fight card entertaining !
one of the best commentators out there in my opinion
one reason I try not to miss FNFs is his humor :good

He rarely if ever picks a fight successfully, and when was the last time he was a successful trainer....enough said.
