    Absolutely agree with this in theory BUT, does anyone know what the $/lb overweight fine is? My guess is it's COLOSSAL, and by that I mean maybe $10 million per lb? Be interesting to find out.

    I remember the post fight interview with Austin Trout and he said: Canelo was the stronger, faster and rightfull winner

    I've seen it written at 1m per lb over the limit

    Could open scoring not be eliminated out of the sport altogether? Toally agree that it completely ruins a fight. With the likes of Showtime spending big money to broadcast these fights surely they could have a say in something that takes serious entertainment out of the fight?

    Floyd is just too much for canelo. He's got everything except youth on canelo and he still hasn't slowed down much since his prime (PBF)

    One of the reasons he's slower is mainly he's fighting at a higher weightclass then before.

    After watching this fight, it's really hard for me to imagine Canelo beating Floyd. Dude's stamina is really, really bad and I feel that if Trout would have pressed the issue, Canelo would have been in serious trouble in those later rounds. Outside of the proverbial puncher's chance, I don't give Canelo much of a chance in this fight.

    I scored that fight for Trout, but Canelo was clearly the better boxer. His work rate was just far to low.

    IMO he has a decent chance of beating Floyd, his skill level is high.

    Exaggerate much? :rofl:lol::lol::lol:

    If Canelo fought like JCC with his size advantage he might have a chance. Pressure and tremendous body work. He does not fight like that he has no chance.
