    Close fight!

Neither fighter landed much, but at least the "Mamba" was bringing it.

A draw would have been fair... but it is what it is.

I scored the fight for Shihepo, 7-5 rounds, 115-113 points, giving Abraham rounds 1, 3, 7, 9, and 10. A few rounds were close, and I would have actually been okay with Abraham winning 115-113, but all 3 judges turned in very poor cards, far too wide for Abraham. Plus the referee robbed Shihepo of a clean knockdown in Round 5, so Sauerland had their prints all over this one. Abraham mostly looked AWFUL, he went into a shell from Round 3 onwards (except for rounds 9-10), and was generally looking to land 2-3 good shots to steal rounds. Credit to him, his shell defense was effective, he kept his guard up for all 12 rounds, and although Shihepo greatly outworked him most rounds, he had trouble penetrating Abraham's guard, and so Abraham was able to steal a few of those rounds with a few key shots, despite being outworked. But considering Shihepo kept his left hand so low, and his technique turned ragged when he was obviously gassed in the final 4 rounds, Abraham really underachieved in his offensive gameplan. Plus, considering he fought most of the fight in a shell, the fact Abraham himself gassed so badly in the last 2 rounds (after having his two best rounds in rounds 9-10), and basically gave them away when it seemed the fight was in the balance, is a terrible sign for him. Stieglitz should have ZERO trouble with Abraham in their rubber match, and I expect him to again stop Abraham early. Shihepo I hope to see again sometime, his workrate and fluidity in the early rounds suggests he has potential, and could flourish into a Top 20 caliber fighter if developed properly.

Considering you're the only person on the eastern seaboard who had seen any footage of the man, I can't give you too much credit

What mofo made this crappy fight the main event? Its a total mismatch yet it still manages to be boring.

No mate, seems like you're outta luck. I've missed mosta it myself. TT got worn down by the Pulev jab, AA got what sounds like a slightly dodgy decision. Braehmer winning now in a fight that's a little like having your teeth pulled. This evening was so predictable as to make one feel old. Can't stay up for the American fights.

EDIT: That was supposed to be a quote reply, but I think I was just so bored I forget to hit the 'reply' button. I'm on holiday tomorrow, back Fri night or Sat. Regards all.
