Round 1

Orozco is jabbing and hooking at the body of Hernandez, chasing him across the ring. Hernandez keeps the shell up and paws the jab while Tokyo drifting in wide semicircles and skirting his back on the ropes. Orozco is really digging in with the jab, hook and long 1-2 to the body, bending deeply at the knees and positioning his upper body in. Hernandez keeps wheeling around him, never stopping, and lands a short counter left at the bell.

Ivan Hernandez made it within a minute of going the distance with a slightly past-prime Cotto.

Virtually everyone he beat had a losing record and they were all in Colombia.



Orozco needs to dominate here.

 

Round 2

Orozco is attacking the body fervently, using both hands and really getting low to get extra leverage on them. Huge power shots downstairs by Orozco, keeping Hernandez on the ropes. Light counter straight right by Hernandez while skimming along the ropes, and pawing jabs over the head as Orozco ducks in and smashes both fists in straight lines hard into Hernandez's guts.

Round 3

Orozco lands a big left hook to the head driving Hernandez into the ropes. Desperation combo from Hernandez, left and right brushing the top of Orozco's head. Big left hooks downstairs by Orozco and Hernandez goes down. He beats the count but is unable to escape that same corner as Orozco moves in and sledges him with left hooks and hard straight rights to either side. Short looping right to the jaw by Orozco as Hernandez drops his guard to cover his body. More big body shots by Orozco and Hernandez goes to a knee on the ropes again. Hernandez gets up and waves out his arms defensively but Orozco is picking his way through with hard body shots. Hernandez down again, that's it.
