His promoter is rich and powerful, so Deontay Wilder can have nearly any opponent he wants. Who will he fight next?

Many heavyweights are available right now. Solis, Glazkov, Jennings, Adamek, Takam, Browne, Perez, Abdusalamov, Dinu, Boytsov, Wawrzyk, and Pianeta are not scheduled.

most people you listed are either to good or to young to fit into wilder's range of possible opponents. Tua and holyfield (at least in a few years) would be typical opponents for wilder.

why? he just faces weak opposition and even said himself that knocking people out is more important to him than stepping up the opposition.

I've seen the idea of fighting a guy with a granite chin mentioned. Would fighting someone like Guinn, Toney, Tua, or McCall be stupid? Would not make for compelling fights, but would give him rounds. Maybe if you could get the fights on short notice? Although that would exclude Tua since he has Ustinov later.

Someone on the level of Vinny Maddalone.

  13. Not before 2015.

In 2014 will Jason Gavern be his strongest opponent and Wilder could even lose this fight.
