    Come on ppl........

Gavern is tough, but he's not exactly unstoppable. Most guys who are in the Bclass dismiss him rather easily.

Malcolm Tann beat him rather easily before he was a shopworn journeyman and Tann was never exactly a contender.

Firtha may be a tough stay busy fight, as would Guinn. McCall would do nicely, but Wilders gotta fight someone who throws punches and can take punches. None of those guys listed are doing both those things.

However, there is a fell by the name of Tank Williams who would suit both those characteristics and be little threat to Wilder so long as Deontay chose to stay on the outside and not risk being hit.

Also, Tank knows just how to tilt his head when he sees the telegraphed shot, soas he takes it right on his cement forehead and breaks the hands of big punchers.

How would Wilder fare with a broken R hand?????

I think Tank would be a great step for Wilder and learning experience for him since he will inevitably be in a fight one day.:good

Well if he is following the pattern of his past fights it will proberly be something like Botha or Fres Oquendo

  3. If they really want to step up and stop with this ridicolous circus show, they should let him face at least against Wawrzyk or Pianeta. Both guys are terrible boxers, but ranked high ..

Wilder's team are now considering the king of the street - Kimbo Slice. He also punches very hard and is now a pro boxer. They say its going to be a big step up for Wilder due to the fact that Kimbo is unbeaten, a KO artist at (7-0, 6KO) and also at 39 he is practically bellow 40. Fresh blood compared to the usual opposition that Wilder is facing.

And I think its a good match up for Wilder as he will face someone who is not on a loosing streak, with some power.

An a-force Audley Harrison rematch as Audley felt the ref ended the match prematurely before he could get going.

Why not Tony Thompson? Someone half decent who will not fall over easily. I'm not getting on board the hype train until he can beat a few guys at this level and I'm not convinced he can to be honest.

    It's down to 2 fighters. It's either
    Will E getup
    Or
    Dusty trucks

Either way, it's a step up for Wilder

  8.

TT schools him even more than Price.

Would it be worth it for either guy????

Pianeta just had a 500K+ payday and can resume the Euro journeyman route to another title shot down the road if he wishes.

Wawrzyk just fought for the minor title and he too earned a nice sum of cash, far more than GBP would be willing to dish out to bring him to the US.

NTM.....both these Euro fighters are pretty much domestic fighters, almost exclusively fighting in Europe. And Wilder can't travel due to his legal issues for beating down a girl, so neither of these fights make sense.

And on a side note.....Pianeta is a SP who was able to land his straight left on Wladimir from the early rds. Not too certain Wilder wants to be exposed by a cancer survivor.:yep

    How about Robert Hawkins????

    43 y/o

    Durable, but non threatening.

Willing to fight anyone, anytime, anywhere.

    Very active.

He's on every top 20 HWs resume, so why not Wilder's too.

Would be a good turn around fight that could be held in Philly with maybe Bryant Jennings coheadlining the event vs maybe Gavern. Maybe even throw Steve Cunningham in with Firtha and bring Chambers back at HW against a guy like Ding and the the event would sell big time.

    Hell, I'd ppv that card.:think

I bet he wont last with someone like Chagaev for example. The only way for Wilder to step up is to beg Chisora for a fight.

    What's the rush?

Imagine if Ustinov - or even Tua - fell awkwardly on DWs chicken legs. SNAP
It would be career ending :yep

What's next for Wilder? Facing whatever stiffs his management can dig up to keep the hype going.
