Very much my opinion of Gennady. Study his movement, his technique hell, even his eye movement, and listen to his fight comments (if you can get through the broken English), Gennady is a thinking fighter, a fight technician, who is also blessed with deadly power. I tend to view GGG as more of a craftsman than a 'fighter', someone for whom his bouts are almost a means of expression. A comment made by Kovalev which I caught a while ago springs to mind - 'we were taught' (in the Soviet/Russian ams) 'that pro boxing was like a blood sport - that's how we saw it'. There is something like beauty or art in the perfection of any physical talent no matter the cruelty of it's results. No boxer is unbeatable, but those who fight not just for livelihood, but for joy of their craft, and draw their ability not just from desperation or anger, but from a genuine desire to perfect their art seem to me exemplars of the sport, and Gennady Golovkin, at this time, stands as a prime example.
Don't forget on Top of the money being offered he does have a World Title...that should be enough to entice any of these so called Top Middleweights to Fight Golovkin but unfortunately protecting there already Padded record comes first.!!!!
It will be entertaining while it lasts, and anybody who hits as hard as Stevens always has a punchers' chance.
