    #sowhatdoesthatmakeyou?

The fight is sold out. The TV hype will pick up when the season re-starts

The thing I found disappointing was the promotion for Barker v Geale in sky, maybe I just missed it but there seemed very little

Why promote it to casuals already when all they cared about was the new football season starts? Waste. It will get the sufficient promotion and I gather will be a successful event.

If you know an ounce about boxing then surely you wouldnt have written what you have.

The fight was announced and it was all over the news and in addition the show is according to news on here and other outlets a SELL OUT. So there is no need for promotion from that side of things.

So the next logical phase is to push the PPV side and you cannot realistically do that until the last month leading up to the fight where you will see a lot more activity in the printed media and TV media. Of course Sky will also ensure they plug the life out of it as it is in their interest to do so.

So in brief, there is no need to panic about things, everyone will know about this fight and will watch either live, in the pubs, in the cinemas and in their sitting rooms.

    Pointless thread.

I don't know about 'humble guy', but I'd say Haye's finally bored even himself into relative silence.

Wont pick up until first week of september.

Lets be honest 6 weeks of constant hype for what will be 6 minutes of action dont really make sense anyway.

Everyone only called for this fight to happen because they wanted to see Fury get his mouth shut. I think it will be over quicker then the Harrison fight.
