Spadfora was the better/finer boxer no questions about that. Truly there is no blue print to defeat him.

    Calazage has the better resume

    Seriously:patsch
Calz, with all his disrespect, was still a 2 weight world champ
to go along with his unbeaten ledger.
Spadafora, is a career clubfighter who once held a paper title,
    and almost instantly lost it.

The 2 aren't comparable, even if you hate Joe.

Just what this website needs, another Calzaghe topic. They're all the same fantasy/commentary bull**** on his legacy.

Who dies first, Hopkins or Calzaghe? That's probably a new one.

I don't like Calzaghe but he certainly ranks higher than Spadafora. I can't remember hearing about Spadafora fighting a name fighter since he got out of jail for shooting his girlfriend.

Spadafora was invincible since the amateurs, people who know him from those days know he dominated and he lost 5/80 just cause he was disliked for his anarchic tendencies (he was shot by the cops as an amateur and had a criminal aura about him since he was a teen).

As a Pro he was marginalized/avoided for his unfavorable style, dominating the lightweight. Bad luck robbed him of super fghts with Mayweather & Corrales. Mayweather possibly avoided him & Corrales went to prison. Then Spaddy went to prison

Clazaghe had better luck & a better resume. Spaddy is the better fighter, anybody who followed boxing in the 1990s knows that Spaddy was invincible, unlike Joe C he is still active, UNDEFEATED 48-0 and calling everybody out :yep

By this type of reasoning there is no blue print to defeat the great Terry Marsh as well as he retired as undefeated world champion. When Mayweather vs Canelo fight happens there will be a blue print to beat one of them. Lucas Matthyse must be worried as there is no blueprint to beat the great Danny Garcia.

    Calzaghe

However, Spadafora is on tape beating the crap out of Void! I think most have seen that tape. He outboxed and embarrassed Void. That video was on the Net for a while, perhaps you can still see it in the archives.....
