Yo musta forgot Wlad promised Haye would be his 50th knockout in ever interview and tv appearence. He wanted that KO badly , and when the time came to do it he bitched out and let the judges take care of him...Both men were bad , thats what I saw. Not just one.

 

Disagree. If you are faced with a big banger , going for a low output points win is the wrong strategy...The right strategy is to try get the guy out of there early to eliminate any risk of getting KO'd.....Wlad near got himself KTFO in the 12th...If the ref hadn't let him spoil and lock up Haye for the remainder of the round he could of been finnished off...He was lucky he was in Germany because what he did was against the rules...Wlad would be of been a dominant champ in any other era.

 

Well sure Wladimir was hurt but so was Haye acually by a 1-2 combo near the end. Still he had the wrong tactics and needed to up his punches thrown then maybe he would have won the title.

When he acually went for the kill in the 12th he looked better then the 9 rounds before so.

 

you cant KO a guy who runs for his life and flops to his back every 5 minutes.
the bottom line is that he guaranteed a victory which he did, while Hayes 3 years of insults and blabbing only made him look like an utter fool and clown.

Thats where you're wrong...Haye fought the same as Byrd did against Ike..There was no running for his life. Never happened. Not once...Ike closed down Byrd and put him away in 5..Considering the size and power difference of Wlad over Haye , he was an utter embarrassment with the fear and bewilderment in showed....Foreman and even Ike would of closed him down without hesitation....

No offense intended..nor do that I care too much at all but after reading a number of your posts in this thread I'm just a little curious why you're so belligerent with regards to Haye's over the top pre-fight hype and subsequent lack of performance on fight night. This kind of thing is done in boxing all the time to promote a fight...granted Haye took it in a somewhat interesting direction..but its been done before. Why the angst? Wlad never went on record as pissed as you are. Nor Vitali and he's Wlad's big brother.

I can see if you were a diehard Haye fan because he duped all of 'em. Or maybe if you bought into the hype and jumped on the bandwagon. Or best yet if you lost money on the fight. All valid reasons to be ticked off...just curious if any of those apply.
