Feel sorry for murray being managed and promoted by a gang of ****ing mongs especially that twitching spastic poxon. If eddie hearn was his promoter that fight would be signed, sealed and taking place at st helens rugby ground or the men arena. DONKEYS
Can't believe some of the posts in this thread, Quillin is a damn good fighter, I highly doubt Murray would dominate, win every round and stop him, it's a good, close fight where you'd probably have to slightly favour Qullin.
young athletic, slim and good looking so the complete opposite of you - you must have issues with your looks , I don't even drink alcohol. mate Murray would be the favourite to win, and vast majority of people would tip Murray, your making yourself look stupid with your outlandish views, watch Murrays fights then watch Quillins theres a big difference in talent. you do boxing haha your probably a big nosed pakky boy who can't fight to save his life, I'm 100% certain your completely **** IF you do boxing if you can't fight you can't talk you ****ing troll you must have no life to post so much on a forum and have so much hate for a top quality boxer that you don't have 000.1% of the talent of.
The reason this fight won't be happening wont be down to Murray will definitely be poxon he is useless
Martinez wasn't injured, what's with the bull**** excuses after every fight on here your wrong Quillin is good but Murray is far more proven, are you deluded Murray has a solid chin so Quillin aint knocking him out ( don't understand how u think Quillin could knock him out), Murray has a top defence, is as tough as they come, and has a high skillset, he would outbox Quillin
Murray's extremely tough. There's no way he would duck Peter Quillin - the great black hope at middlweight, he wouldn't duck anybody he's just not that type of personality. Would probably beat all the middleweights apart from Golovkin who he'd give a really good fight. Murray is one of the UK's best.
I can't believe how 'british' people could say a negative word about Murray. Hes a victim to boxing's bull****. He beat both Martinez and Sturm he's big, strong, durable, stays on you, and wins rounds. He'd surely beat an average paper champ like Peter Quillin All I see in Quillin is a good chin and good power, it's not enough to beat any of the top middleweights
Yes he is big strong durable (except in the stamina department) stays on you and wins rounds. He is also limited, can't go through the gears when he needs to, is one paced and quite plodding and predictable..doubtful stamina...etc. He marches forward using his huge arms as shields, and his bulk to dominate smaller men. But he has been very lucky, having huge injury and size advantages versus Blackwell and Sergio. Sturm who he could not dominate physically, was a close but clear winner. Look at that fight objectively. See Sturm drive him back time and time again. count how many times Sturm lands 2,3 consecutive jabs, driving Murray backwards, murray had no answer. See Murrays back hit the ropes repeatedly. How many times did Sturms back hit the ropes? Objectively, not negatively, Felix won that fight. quillin is big, can hit and won't just obligingly throw straight punches straight at/into Murrays guard. I'm not saying Quillin is certain to win, but neither is Murray.
Some crazy statements on here, believe me Quillan can fight.. I'd jump at the fight if it was in the UK for Martin but make no mistake Quillan can fight, I know of too many people who have shared a ring with him who say so.. Very powerful and very fast is what they say.. It's also pro's who you all rate who told me it too...
Supposedly they are working on his Visa which is going to take a while but as of now he can't get into the US and probably Canada too. Shame as sound like a fantastic opportunity. World Title fight in your home country. Hopefully Murray gets his promotional issues sorted.
A lot of people have already highlighted the answers on this and other forums. Who knows what the exact offer was? If the money was not right, Poxon was well within his rights to be difficult. Also was there options on the fight, would Murray if he won the title have to defend either in America or a Golden Boy fighter? Its all very well taking sides in this but no one knows why difficulties arose in making this fight.
Oh dear, they're the muppet minority atsch Couldn't care much less about him myself, I really want to see GGG unify the division and become an ATG before he slows down :bbbI'm American, but nationality has little to do with it for me...for example, I'll be happy either way for Floyd/Canelo and Matthysse/Garcia if they provide worthy shows and there are no BS decisions.. You said "major hypejob", which does depend on the general public to some extent. No, obviously that bit wasn't calling upon average Joe's nonexistent boxing knowledge but rather how much he's aware or chatting about the dude, i.e. "hype". Besides Joe not having a clue, again, American boxing fans' views of him are generally lukewarm at best, thus there's no major hype there. Him and the manager/promoter need to really step their game up
