Very good talent, not powerful enough to make it at top world level, although to be fair he could pick up a world title..

    He's Cleverly mark 2

Fighting nobodies and chumps - yet still doing 12 rounds ?

No chance he gets any type of belt in that weight class.

To me there is no comparison between bjs and nathan cleverly

Despite Nathan having "achieved" more to date I don't doubt he will go further than Nathan, world title or not his record will surpass Nathan's over time

    So yes i'm a fan

idiots on here always look for any little excuse to be negative

he has good enough power he is no Cesar Cuenca

Anyway even if he didn't have good power, theres been countless world champions that have have not had a massive punch so it's ridiculous.
Guys like O Sullivan and Blackwell had solid chins thats why he never stopped them.

Geale, Barker, Sturm have just been world champs in the same division as Billy Joe and they are not massive punchers, plus there is/has been recently countless world champs who are not big punchers - Burns, Cleverly, Mcdonnell, Vasquez, Bradley, Alexander, Hernandez, Peterson, Erdei, Chris John, Narvaez, Malignaggi, Ivan Calderon, Dawson, Spinks.. etc etc etc I could go on and on the list is endless
Plus some of the greatest fighters ever were not big punchers - Willie Pep, Pernell Whittaker, Barney Ross, etc

you haters need to get lives

Saunders has good power I don't get why people keep mentioning it ( maybe it's jealousy) he passes the power test, he has 10 KO's from 18 fights, and power is something you can improve anyway he's only 23.
Only at heavyweight do you need a big punch to be successful.

But Saunders has passsed every test for me so far - speed, skills, technique, defence, power, chin - he's a very good all rounder

Murray and Saunders are the future at middleweight for the UK those 2 will be at the top for a long time

I really like him, he's great to watch. Time will tell how far he can go, I can see him doing well at European level.

As many have said he appears very slick quick, very smooth and very very fluid. Great to watch, easy on the eyes style etc. But it is a valid point to question his power IMO.

Without the power there is little chance of glory at world level. I know Flapper Geale had few stoppages to his name of any note, and Zbik was a non puncher too. But these guys are the exceptions. Generally, to be a top level middleweight, you DO need power.

He does seem to be worryingly short of punch power, but he seems to have all the rest of the package alright.
