Based on what I've seen, I think Arreola wins. But I would have figured Mitchell to be an underdog in his last fight, but he started off as the favorite against Banks in the rematch. The betting on Banks slid the odds down enough to where Banks was the favorite by fight night. What followed was a ridiculous "fight" that no one appreciated. It seems like there's something strange going on with Mitchell. You would think Vegas would come out of the gate with some odds favoring Arreola fairly quickly.
So bet365 is the only book in the world I can find with odds, but no fight outcome odds. Interesting. I wonder if they're a market maker in boxing? Their juice is terrible though.
Under 5.5 rounds 2/7 Even the bookies know Arreola is gonna destroy him ffs Waiting til they put the odds for Arreola in round 1
Well, maybe I'm way off base on this fight. I went in for Kovalev vs Cleverly, Pulev vs Thompson (but actually bet on Thompson due to the odds/chance I thought he had), Wilder vs Liakhovich and I've mentioned on these boards that Gonzalez (bet, won), Terrazas (bet, lost), and Mchunu (bet, won) would be closer than the odds indicated. Am I really that off base on this one? I think Mitchell is an oafish fighter with a suspect chin. But I still think he hurts enough to push Arreola back at least for a few rounds, and based on his last fight, potentially fights an awkward counterpunching/clinching fight to draw it out. I can see Arreola getting tagged by an oaf and stepping back to try to box him on technique... Maybe I'm an idiot with regards to this fight for even thinking that the odds would be anything but Arreola all the way... :yep
Nobody is giving Mitchell a chance! If someone had to make the odds based on the poll, Mitchell is - 500
You mean +500 right? If that poll is how bookmakers feel, we're probably at about -900 for Arreola vs +600 for Mitchell or even wider odds with reasonable juice.
