For me it's the first Peter fight, and it's not even close.

I never had any doubt whatsoever that he'd school Haye, who was lucky to get the decision against Valuev.

He weighed less than 200 for his first 15 pro fights..

And he weighed just 201 at age 24 when he fought Henry Cooper in 1966.
Ali was obviously more skilled than Haye.

Looking at the list provided in the poll, I'm not impressed at all with his streak of victories against mid level competition. Goes to show you how diluted the HW division has been since the times of Lewis, Holyfield, Tyson and Foreman.

I guess if I had to pick one guy from this paltry list, I'd say it was against Samuel Peter.

He was 18 in 1960, he was born in 1942. He was 22 when he beat Liston.

He was 23 for the second Liston fight in 1965.

He weighed 201 at age 24 when he fought Cooper in 1966.

Chris Byrd 2000 with a bullet.

All of you Hayelords GTFOH. Byrd has wins over Tua, Holyfield and Vitali...Haye doesn't hold his jock strap.

    This is true.

Both Byrd wins, the Peter win and the Chagaev win were all better wins than Haye.

A win over Povetkin would punt Haye out of the top five.

You honestly think I give a fukk? You just got flat out ignored trying to look cool making stupid rhymes to boxed ears. You're a nobody around here. A humour-less clown.

I could agree with that, except I was never that big on Chagaev, and I never personally expected him to challenge Wlad much.

The Haye win is being grossly misrepresented in this poll. But for me, that first Peter win was the one where Wlad truly arrived, overcame adversity, and started really displaying the fuller spectrum of fine-tuning that Steward provided.

Dino is essentially God's gift to the forum. He always brings new insights and analysis to fights and fighters that leave you thinking "Now why didn't I notice that ?"

He is meticulous in distinguishing fact from opinion and never posts till he's sure he's on safe ground. As in:

And on the rare occasion where the facts fail him,

he's always ready with a well-crafted and convincing comeback:

But seriously, he's basically a troll whose posts on the Klitschkos occupy about three quarters of his output.

He might have some kind of perverse man-love for the brothers and be craving their attention at any cost.

I wouldn't be surprised if he had that iconic poster of he brothers, half-naked, plastered on the wall of his room.
