In preparation for what looks to be a great autumn programme of domestic and international fight nights.....do need some training tips.......should I increase my salted snacks and cheap cider intake rapidly over the next few days? Or should I pace myself?.......what are the best snacks between the early evening programmes.....and the middle of the night sessions?....cheese and biscuits?Re specialist equipment......do you know of any more suitable garments than usual elastic acted waist pants from matalan for marathon tv sessions?
There's a lot of conflicting advice out there, some good, some not so good... Stick to the tried 'n tested old school stuff that works. I'm talking pringles, kettle crisps, and dry roasted for nibbles. Pizza for the main, obviously. But hey, kfc... This is a big subject and I hope this helps in some small way.
Tins a Tennents lager, sweet n sour hong kong style from the Happy takeaway best *****ys in Coatbrig and some Tonic Wine for the main event
Tonic wine is a winner !!! Still deciding whats more rank..........thaa sweet n sour or tennents pish........that's pure guff Sikes
I would increase the uptake to prepare for the big nights. Chicken Wings / BBQ or Chinese style. BBQ ribs Pizza meat feast stuffed crust Box of Strongbow A few Jaeger bombs Mutli pack pickled onion space raiders and roast beef monster munch,
A shed load of weed and coffee normally does the trick for me. However obviously the food is centre stage here, got to be Wings, Ribs and Pizza as stated above, its tried, its tested, it works.
the lounge had a thread on wired concoctions that people put together when feeding on fight nights , oh dear bring the ****er back
Great posts........I can't wait for these all nighters!!!!!!.........bloody hell there was a time when I would have said that and a LADY would have been involved.
