matthysse is going to knock himself out. danny is just going to place the shot...but because matthysse swings with so much force...he's going to make danny look like a devastating puncher.

matthyssee went for vs peterson because peterson is not a puncher.he'll be more controlled and measured vs garcia.

 

watch the chin checkers be out in force if lucas gets ko'd despite everyone before hand saying his chin is very good, just for the record i predict lucas tko by the 8th round

 

i just think lucas wants it more, hits abit harder, has a slightly better beard also.

He also has a great engine, he can throw bombs from round 1-12, I also argue his timing is just as good as Danny's, he WILL catch you, he has knocked down EVERYONE he has faced, that says something about his accuracy/timing. He's good at judging range, he feints well too.

For me, he is calmer, more experienced, doesn't want to be distracted. I say he also deserves the chance to become a big name in the sport.

Both will want this fight... For the mayweather shot and epxosure being the main reason. The winner of this fight, especially if done impressively, will be on the verge of stardom.

Beard wise, i would say both are solid, but Garcia has been more tested. is it true Lucas said Soto hurt him? If so, then Garcia would get the nod from me. Garcia ate some big lefts from judah in the last three rounds and was still steady legged even if retreating.

Lucas has power has been a bit overated, even though in terms of raw punching power he is ahead of Garcia. garcia is the bigger stronger man - confirmed by the man who has sparred them both.

Lucas is a big puncher, but he ain't no Julian Jackson - hell no! JJ would touch you and you would sleep. JJ destroyed g-mans brain. Matthysse landed everything on Ajose and Soto for round after Round and they only crumpled after a seveare beating. If Lucas punched like JJ, they would be out there in 2 rounds. Both Dallas and Peterson have shaky chins... peterson has been down against many others too.

I won't be surprised if we find out after this fight that Garcia has the better chin and the bigger one punch KO power.

 

your argument is very flawed... i think peterson is a better and more proven BOXER (technical style) then garcia is and peterson only made it to round 3. as far as chins go both have been hit with good shots but iv never seen matthyse flinch.. he took flush counter uppercuts from judah and he just laughed it off.. iv seen plenty of fighters knocked out by that counter left uppercut of judahs... yet judah landed a good straight left and it wobbled garcia a bit..

Problem is peterson on "boxed" for one round... He then got into a firefight and lost. Garcia doesn't have the footspeed and therefore it looks like it will get real exciting real quick with those two.

Garcia has punching power too and timing to go with it. Wreckless Matthysse good get caught at the worse possible time for him and only then we will know how good matthysse chin is.

Even Garcia noted in matthysses fight with judah, after getting tagged early by judah, matthysse stood off the gas - yes he smiled - but that just shows it hurt him. Did soto hurt lucas? I dont know but i read on here someone saying that.

I would love to see matthysse KO Garcia, just so i can see the look on his pops face. but the fight is so exciting and is much more closer than many people are making out. you cant tell me this is the biggest puncher since forever and yet he lands everything on Ajose and doesnt stop him until round 10. Lundy dealt with Ajose in 10 too... matthysse has hurtful power but he aint the biggest one punch KO artist in this decade, let alone all time. garcia has shown just as good KO power in single shots in his most recent fights.
