Never has one drink so don't know where u get that from everyone there could clearly see that I drove there from Birmingham an drive back straight after my coach was with me also. I don't drink 10 weeks before a fight 12 weeks if I get that notice.

never rated gavin, if i'm honest, he's a european level fighter who won't crack it to world class, just my opinion from what I've seen.

Good shout but I genuinely believe Frankie schools Purdy, more comprehensively than he did Vassell. I'm in agreement with lot of many of the sensible, considered boxing brains in Brum and would happily wager that Frankie rules domestically and in Europe in 2014 with a view to winning a version of a world title by summer 2015.

Okay i will take your word for it.

I am a big supporer of yours and happen to think you are the most talented British fighter we have at the moment and i have no doubt you beat Kell Brook fairly easily if you fought tomorrow.

If you are focused and dedictaed then i think you could well become a World title belt hold and major player in the Welterweight division 12-18 months from now.

You're in good hands with Frank, he knows when a fighter is ready for a World title but in the end it's down to the fighter himself so hopefully you're now ready to make that leap to the bigtime.

December should either be against a decent international fighter or a shot at the European title and hopefully by around next september you'll be close to a crack at a World title.

Someone's already mentioned it on this thread but he has the fundamentals and intangibles that simply can't be taught and I apologize for going all Teddy Atlas! He susses the other bloke out after 2/3 rounds, adapts accordingly and looks the bollocks whilst doing it. I feel privileged to have been alot of his early fights because a fully focused Frankie, managed properly goes all the way.

Frankie is very good, going to be tough to beat. For me he is a bit boring though. Clinches/holds too much and lacks power so i don't exactly look forward to his fights. Very skilled fighter though who is hard to hit clean, but its not my style of fighter that i enjoy to watch. If i was a pro fighter i wouldn't want to fight him.

Fair play to him though, he gets the job done so far and good luck to him.

I've criticised Frankie before but I have to say he completely impressed me against Vassell, if he can keep stepping up as the competition gets better then the skies the limit.

No disrespect to Clev, but i couldnt see Frankie doing what Clev did againts Kovalev, if he faced a big puncher.

Like others have said he has a excellent boxing brain you can't teach it.

Give a fighter even good level fighters a gameplan to stick to should it go wrong in a fight they struggle to make automatic adjustments.

Gavin seems to me one of those fighters that wouldn't need to be told focused & fit can only mean exciting times ahead for him.

Frankie has World Class Skills and a great ring IQ, Ive forever defended him on boxing forums. At present the only thing that needs to grow is his confidence but its coming

Bellew is a good british and euro level boxer imo but i think Gavin will go alot further mate.

I think Gavins style will be more suited to world level boxing and i feel he will be able to adapt to more styles then a bellew or clev could.
