What Round Did Beltran Break Ricky Burns Jaw?

    I don't disagree with that. You've missed my point which was simply that having a broken jaw will affect you in a fight!! He goes into survival mode. Whether he could of won is hearsay and irrelevant by in large. I've given credit to Beltran for doing the damage. But I get why people are saying it might have been different without a break - and I mean how the fight went as opposed to the result by the way.

    I agree Ricky seems like a stand up guy.

    But whens there money at stake building up future fights you just never know. And after seeing those score cards its hard to trust anything around this promotion.

    Watching the fight over again it could be early .The damage looks bad in the 3rd he gets rocked with a big left hook that heavy rocks his jaw .

    I think he felt the pain in the 3rd or 4th which is why its being said, but I think the real damage was done in the later rounds.

    Burns has an honest looking face but that doesn't mean hes an honest man.


    Its the jaw that's relevant at the moment I guess. Jawbone of an ass if he doesn't hand over that title or offer a neutral rematch (to win back the title, that is)
