Canelo is rated at #1 at 154, almost unviersally(the only guy with a claim is Mayweather himself) Guerrero top 5 at 147 Cotto was rated #1 at 154 universally Ortiz was top 5, hell maybe top 3 at 147 Mosley was rated #1 at 147 Look at other guys with "heralded" resumes Abner Mares Jhonny Gonzalez- top 10 at FW PDL-top 5 at FW Moreno- unrated at 122. #1 at 118 Eric Morel- unranked at 122 Agbeko- top 3-5 at 118 Carl Froch Mikkel Kessler- top 5 at 168 Yusuf Mack-unranked at both 168 and 175 Lucian Bute- top 3 at 168 Andre Ward- #1 at 168 Glen Johnson- fringe top 10 at 168 Andre Ward Chad Dawson- #1 at 175 Carl Froch -#2 at 168 Arthur Abraham- fringe top 10 at 168 Sakio Bika- fringe top 10 at 168 Allan Green-fringe top 10 at 168 The guys with supposed elite resumes have resumes weaker than Floyd's last 5.
You see, that's the same **** I say about the cut. It will be healed in may to fight Marquez, but won't be healed if he was going to fight mayweather. WTF.... That's called ducking 101
EXACTOMUNDO!!!! but these nut hangers are too dumb to see that I'll bet the Showtime execs are having fits thinking "What ever did we do no wonder HB O didn't mind letting him goatsch
To the ppl accusing Mayweather of ducking, can you think of 3 better fighters below 154 to fight Mayweather? Just months ago ppl were claiming he would never fight Canelo and in a few weeks it'll be a "cherry pick"
it's been very obvious for so long now that floyd don't like danger. runs away from tr when margo wanted to fight him, retired when bad dudes were fighting each other at 147, vacationed when pacquiao became a threat.
He was basically forced into that position to fight Canelo if not he'd be fighting Devon Alexander or Amir Khan !
Bottom line he NEVER fought the best of his generation at their prime...unless you consider Carlos Baldomer and Arturo Gatti :rofl:rofl
