From what I hear as of yesterday Canelo has capped out at 156, and his management is not sure if he could make the weight. They may try to negotiate a 153 catch with the Mayweathers if he continues to struggle, he's already basically starving

I feel he has enough time to make the weight but when you cap out you cap out, and too many people in the know, is telling me these same things

 

His conditioning was poor when he fought Trout. Floyd was dumb enough to think that the same Canelo that fought Trout was going to show up to fight him. Instead the catch weight got him to begin a nurtitional program and a a conditioning program designed to give him speed, power, and endurance. People are going to be surprised with his improved hand and foot speed!

as for your "negotiate" a "153 catchweight" theory that was already stipulated in the contract what canelo will be penalized per pound so there is no negatiating a catchweight as you proclaimed.
