    Agenda?

Who is the one with an agenda?

If catchweights do not hurt the bigger fighter,or in this case Canelo, then why even have a catchweight?

Mayweather had no issues fighting DLH and Cotto at the limit, why have it with Canelo? If its such non-issue why not scarp it and legitmize his win?

If it does not make that much of a difference why not remove it to avoid criticism and asteriks?

    That is the agenda there.

Because it's obvious what Floyd thinks of your "asterisks".

Just like what Oscar thought of us thinking he wasn't a real champion, and calling his fight with Hopkins for the Undisputed title.

Does that make him a natural 154lber?

catweight fights are made to even the playing field between a fighter who starve to make the weight so he can feast on smaller men and fighters who can barely get to the weight limit. Boxers like josesito agree to fight knowing they will severely outweighted because it is their career payday. Floyd doesn't need to bend like that

Do you not know that if the fight was at a 148 pound catch weight that it would be for the lineal JMW title?

And how many times has Floyd fought at 154? and how many times has he actually made 154? And when was his opponent at 154 ever some guy who walks around and rehydrates to Light Heavyweight?

Floyd Mayweather is a 2 time world champion at 154.

What his opponent weighs outside of the weigh-in is completely irrelevant. 154 is the limit. If there is a contracted weight below 154 its because it is what was needed to make the fight happen and the other fighter should receive some flack, or in this case the 2 time 154 champion should receive a lot of flack.

It sure as hell does. Yeah, keep defending Floyd's ***** move, but this is why he has such a trash resume in comparison to other ATGs.

I can obviously understand the use of catchweights. Floyd has earned that right. He does the numbers to back up his claims of being the ppv king, therefore he gets to make people jump through hoops. This idea isn't only in boxing.
