I think Vitali should be slightly higher than Riddick Bowe or Jersey Joe Walcott in ATG lists. Due to his amazing dominance, Wlad should be higher and inside the Top10.

It's no myth. His greatest single accomplishment to date is having a hole punched in his face by an old, fat, unmotivated Lennox Lewis and being stopped before his eye fell out of his head.

Who has he beaten that will even make the HOF (never mind an ATG)? NOBODY.

Resume is quite poor(Not his fault) but who else could he of fought? Holyfield, Rahman and Ruiz are they only ones I can think of that would make his resume slightly better.

Vitali came back from a 4 year layoff and won the WBC title without a tuneup!!!!!!! Vitali has the highest knockout percentage than any heavyweight champion in boxing history!!!!!!!

His resume is mostly based on a loss. Still i think prime for prime he would his brother.

Not according to the charts on TV. Dan Rafael showed them, Vlad is in the top five, Marciano is next to Vitali................

Chris Byrd ranks higher than Vitali and he isn't even a top 50 heavy weight.

Beating left over's and unranked bottom feeder is not dominating. Vitali dominated nothing.

He wont get gifted a highter ranking because he didn't get opportunity to fight bigger names. He will be ranked only by what he did , not what he could of done.

His resume is too weak to mention him as an ATG, and a lot weaker than Wlad's.

These are the best fighters Vitali's beat :

Herbie Hide, Larry Donald, Ross Purrity, Vaughn Bean, Kirk Johnson, Corrie Sanders, Danny Williams, Chris Arreola, Sam Peter, Juan Carlos Gomez, Odlainer Solis, Tomasz Adamek, Dereck Chisora.

Some of those guys were worthy top 10 at the time, others were borderline, and some wouldn't have made a reasonable top 10.
None of them will be remembered as anything better than an average contender, at best.

Vitali has a strong resume but just not strong enough.

Probably will end up around Top 15-20. Wlad obviously and should be a lot higher than that.
