Matthysee-Peterson Was Not That Impressive

    Matthysee actually looks horrible in this fight, Peterson just has no chin. Matthysee is sloppy, winging punches, terrible footwork, etc...when lamont was boxing lucas wasn't even in the fight. Lamont got to fighting stupid and got caught, the left hook that finished it Peterson was just standing in front of Matthysee squared up. Congrats to Matthysee he got the win but to me Peterson just fought a dumb fight. I would take Devon Alexander over Matthysee, he will box not brawl and thats really all it takes to beat Matts

    he didnt have the movement or skills to negate Lucas' offense. that's why he lost. **** off.

    I re-watched the fight last night. Both men looked sloppy, but Peterson looked exceptionally sloppy, kept himself upright and didn't know how to keep the distance from Lucas' powershots. Easier said than done I guess.

    That 2nd knockdown on him was absolutely devastating.

    Matts hit Lamont with 3 rabbit punches in the back of the head, from that point on Lamont started fighting dumb standing and trading. Peterson was also moving and throwing punches a half step slow, dude did not bring his A game

    He slipped and got knocked out, he got wreckless and got caught, The best one "he was intimidated and fought scared an got knocked out".

    I knew Peterson was getting KO'd when they announced the fight. Peterson doesn't have the best punch resistance, especially in the beginning of a fight. This guy got KD by Bradley of all people, and who is Bradley KDing?? He couldn't even KD glass jawed Holt. When Peterson went against Ortiz, who does have legit power, he was Knocked all around the ring in the beginning -- Ortiz is just mentally weak and doesn't seem to be good finisher due to this.

    Lucas was going to ruin him, I called it from the beginning. All because Peterson TKO'd glass jawed Holt and eeked past Khan, which was questionable and he was roided, didn't fool me.
