Floyd who tipped the scale at 150.5 (Basically the same weight as he did with Oscar years ago) or Canelo who is a full fledge JMW but "weigh in" 152, having to lose two extra pounds?

    Who will be stronger tomorrow?

Canelo has the size advantage and is probably stronger. I'd imagine he hits a little harder as well. Floyd's clearly faster and more agile and has a longer reach, so they both have physical advantages over each other.

Even if he was drained as these fake fans suggest he's fighting a guy who weighs 150 lbs, can Canelo not handle a welterweight all of a sudden?

guys drain themselves all the time but if they drain against Floyd is different. :deal

Look at Chavez jr. draining 20lbs and damn near ko Martinez. Margo drains 15-20lbs often and bullies. Canelo who drains himself every fight 15-20lbs bullies Lopez.

You know why they are doing it? Because people gave **** to a certain fighter who i dont need to mention his name for doing it for the longest. Simple as that. I don't care who fights at catchweights. I didnt about pac doing it, didnt care about dawson ward an now I dont care about mayweather canelo catchweight. It is what it is.

I still don't understand how a person can gain 20 lbs overnight?

    Bc they cut water weight.

    For example:
You got two guys who both competes in the same weight class of 154lbs. Fighter A is fully hydrated at 154lbs and doesn't need to cut water weight to make the weight limit. And Fighter B is cutting out as much of water weight as possible to make the weight limit to make 154lbs but in reality he is a natural 170lbs or more guy.

A lot of fighters does this to gain a size advantage over their opponents. They pack on muscle going into camp and systematically gauge their ability to make the weight so when they rehydrate they would be almost at peak condition during camp. Of course they would be weaken a little for cutting the weight but overall they have a sizable advantage.

Who said that catchweight will benefit Canelo?
It call the middle ground. Floyd has proven to be ineffective at 154 and can easily fight at 147.
Canelo got plenty of advantages in terms of size, youth, and strength.
His haters just want something to ***** about as always.

You don't just cut fat or water without cutting some muscle too; it doesn't work that way.

Doing a ton of cardio will also burn muscle (which is why bulky, cartoonish looking fighters with great stamina is a big red flag for PED use). That's also why marathon runners are so emaciated looking. And, it's why you rarely see fighters move down in weight successfully.

What that means is that, although Alvarez didn't look terrible at the weigh-in, there's a good chance his strength will be compromised. If it wasn't, I still wouldn't pick him to win, but it is what it is.

but what about the fact that it's only a little over a pound less than what canelo weighed in his last fight vs trout or that canelo won his JMW title at 151?
