Wow, the odds are just as one sided as it can be in a boxing match...

    BWin's odds:

    Miguel Cotto 1.05 or -2000
    Draw 29.00 or +2800
    Alfonso Gomez 9.00 or +800
Alfonso Gomez on points 23.00 or +2200

That's smart thinking... You put up just $10 for fun... and who knows... if the seemingly impossible happens, you don't earn just a few bucks... you'll earn $220!

Just a few days until Cotto-Gomez, and after just a few weeks in 2008, we already have some major upsets:

    Campbell defeats Diaz
    Quintana defeats Williams
    Braithwaite defeats Hernandez
    The Contender's Vera TKOs Lee
    The Contender's K9 defeats Ouma

So anyone else think that an upset is possible? Can Gomez pull it off?

We've got only a couple of days left.

Cotto looks already a bit weight-drained and Gomez looks big staning next to him... Will the weight limit or the size difference be a factor Saturday night?

Look at the size of Gomez' head. No way is Cotto going to miss with any of his punches.

gomez most likely has no chance

if cotto is unprepared that will be the only way for him to win

I strongly believe Cotto will win. However, I believe Gomez will give him a solid fight. Gomez seems to have made big improvements in his strength and stamina over the past couple of years. That, and his strong confidence in himself should at least take him into the late rounds, if not all the way to the end.

    SUCCESS!!!!!!!!

Just got word on the tickets for the fights in AC this weekend & I expected good seats, cause a friend of ours has a relation to the VP of Ballies...

    But I never expected RINGSIDE!!!:!:

I hope Gomez can take care of this guy Cotto. Nothing against him. I just really like everything about Gomez. Instant fan after his destruction of Gatti.

And don't be surprised if The Killer Cintron shocks the hell outta Margarito.

No Golota, no Adamek, no Pavlik on this night. But thats OK. I'm excited as Holy Hell about going to see these Latino warriors in action.
