Understand body work? Lol, all of those "body" punches were landing cleanly on Mayweather's arms. "Watch" what is happening. The body work was not good body work, it was not landing. When he got him up against the ropes, he landing punch after punch on the arms. That is not body work. Comprende?

This was a classic Floyd fight. A couple of competitive rounds to start the fight with Floyd processing the opponent. After that, game over the rest of the way.

...Except for the fact that Canelo won 4 of the final 5 rounds of the fight on one of the cards.

I only watched from the 8th round on and thought Canelo might have edged 4 or the last 5.
I had to work tonight, so when I came in, my brother informed me Mayweather was dominating.
Yet I sat down to watch and after the 8th I said, 10-9 Canelo.
The 9th went by, 10-9 Canelo......

I thought Canelo threw and landed well to the body and did enough with the jab and straight rights the head.
He was'nt dominating Mayweather, but he got the late rounds on my card over Mayweather's poke like punches.

Anyways, when I walked in at the end of the 7th, my brother had it 5 rounds to 1 and 1 even.
At the end of the fight he had it 6-5-1 for Mayweather, which signalled at the very least a competitive enough fight and certainly not the whitewash most of you are making it out to be.

    http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/9676002/floyd-mayweather-jr-masterful-again-win-canelo-alvarez

floyd outlanded canelo by 115 punches and mayweather essentially outlanded canleo by twice as many punches.

he landed at a 46 percent connect percentage to canelos 22 percent connect percentage. they both threw roughly the same amount of punches.

your brother, well, hes pretty much a moron when it comes to scoring a fight.

Neither I or my brother pay attention to punchstats that can be decieving.
Its just not a way to score a fight.

As I said, I watched from the 8th round on and imo I thought Canelo won 4 of the last 5 rounds.
I take his going to the body and using the jab with power over Mayweather's punch and judy game the last several rounds.

Having said that, I need to watch the whole fight and score it all myself.

I have little doubt Mayweather won as just about everyone is saying Canelo was'nt taking the fight to Mayweather early to mid rounds as he did past the 8th.

You could give 4 rounds to Canelo if you are extremely biased and looking for anything to give Canelo a round, but no way in hell you can score this fight a draw.

So Dave Moretti was "extremely biased" for giving Canelo 4 rounds?

    punchstats can be deceiving?

if a guy outpunches another guy by twice as many punches in a round how is that deceiving?

the only thing deceiving was anyone that thought this fight was even close.

i would like to see one round that canleo outlanded floyd.

since that did not happen, i would like to see one round that floyd did not outland canelo by 80 percent more punches.

ffs, i would like to see one round where floyd only outlanded canelo by 50 percent more punches.

i will give canelo any round that floyd only outlanded canelo by only 50 percent more punches.

The judge who scored it 114 to 114 was clearly smoking some **** last night. No matter what angle you watch that fight from, is was clearly not a draw. What ever his day job is, he should just stick with that and leave the judging alone.

i'd like to see one round where Floyd and Canelo fought without a catchweight.
