Am I the only one who agreed with the judges.

I think giving rounds out of sympathy is an incompetent and stupid thing to do. I had this a complete shutout, though I saw two rounds who could've went either way. I was drunk off my ass though, I'll rewatch the fight but I doubt that I'll see anything different with sober eyes.

 

i thought it was 10-2 or 9-3 mayweather, canelo just didnt do enough in most of the rounds, the judge who scored it a tie, needs to explain there scorecard, too me it makes no sense, but maybe we are influenced by the biased announcing, the showtime guy was horrid, claiming every round was a mayweather shutout win, maybe watch with him muted,

 

Floyd beat the hell out of Canelo

 

He boxed him to a comfortable decision. That was far from a beating. People go too far one way or the other with Floyd.

a champion boxer getting some work in against a prospect.

 

I had it 7-5 for Mayweather.

Canelo scored maybe 5 clean punches all night.

 

Floyd won 9-3 maybe 8-4. The fight was not completely one sided but you knew who won convincingly.

 

The fans (and judge) that gave rounds to Canelo are judging the aspects of the fight *other* than clean punching: effective aggressiveness, ring generalship, and defense. Ring generalship is where Floyd's game is weak.
