Mayweather fights are dull affairs if not for the Garcia vs Lucas fight it would have been another **** PPV. No goose bumps, no drama,no closing of the show, another Mayweather PPV.

who is left out there that people are willing to pay for?
Manny Pacquiao, Martinez and triple G that's all I see.

will fans pay for a Bradley, or Kahn or Garcia vs Mayweather PPV?????

I can simply wait to see the replay of these. what do you guys think?

Yet somehow he's been involved in some of the biggest PPVs in the sports history. There's really not much more you can ask of the guy.

Khan will be a huge draw for sure especially if the venue is over the pond. Bradley, probably not.

You obviously don't understand the term "guaranteed money" do you? He signed a 6 fight deal with Showtime you dunce, Mayweather is going to get paid, period. It's in his contract.

But this will be a problem for Showtime. They will have issues breaking even on most of these, and even small PPV shortfalls are huge money. Best case scenario was to rematch and rubbermatch Canelo, but he got schooled so thoroughly nobody would buy that.

Why does everyone all of a sudden care so much about showtime breaking even on ppvs. Its clear to me the deal with Mayweather was to help them compete in the long run.

Cause if they're broke, they put Broner Maidana on PPV. I see 2 regular Showtime dates from now till next year, and this is usually the busy time of the year.

It takes two fighters in a life and death struggle to entertain us. A onesided display leaves us feeling used and abused for the most part.

Remember that styles make fights good or bad. Canelo promised much but delivered very little. He talked the talk and he was seething with self belief and with a confidence forged in the furnace of hell.......only to discover that his way of fighting is one dimensional compared to Floyds many styles.

I am left wondering what a change in trainers will accomplish for Canelo??

Guys as good as Canelo should save themselves the money and get rid of the so-called "Boxing Trainers". Instead, Canelo should invest that money in a Physical trainer, and a Chemist.

well i also couldnt see a fight with Khan being anything more than a rather dull experience for Khan supporters. Make some coin out of it if they have it in England maybe? but very hard to see him competing with Floyd, or it being a huge event on account of Khan being the opponent.:verysad
