Canelo said(and I agree) that while Floyd is Not a Power Puncher he is very fast and will land at will.... this with his defensive skill set does makes him a Future MW champion if he wishes.. Agree?
Far from certain. What if GGG does what Canelo did not and walks through Floyds punches and starts lending? Don't get me wrong - Floyd is an ATG, but the MW is too bg a step in size and power, even for a once in a generation talent like him.
Floyd isn't a huge puncher but has respectable power at 147 - 154, which means he can box his opponents heads off and while perhaps not being able to hurt them badly.. they respect his power and can't just walk through him to land. Whether that 'respectable' power would carry up to 160 is the question. Anyway, what more do people want? He's moved through 5 divisions and woke up on the morning of the Canelo fight weighing 146.
floyd cannot beat the jmw division. let alone mw. Rosado for example. Would walk through floyd. 6'0 versatile boxer puncher. No guarantee floyd can outbox someone with that much height & reach either.
