Mares is a good fighter. However, Perez arguably beat him, Agbeko would've beat him if it weren't for that shady ref that allowed Mares to cheat, and Gonzalez of course knocked him out in one round. He's an overachiever. He's got skills and a lot of heart, but he's also pretty vulnerable as well.

García looks Indian, Canelo looks European. There is a reason why you don't see any Indians in Televisa's novelas.

I agree. It's the blood in your veins that counts. Garcia is a Rican in my book and every Chicano is a Mexican. All this "but he was born in Texas" bullshet is just silly.

HE IS an American!!! HE IS NOT MEXICAN!!

Do South Africans claim May weather because he's black. No different countries.

True Mexican fans never really claimed De LA Hoya.

Leo Santa Cruz, is Mexico's "next" biggest star, that kid is a natural, a beast and entertaining as ****! Mikey is great too, but Santa Cruz will be the next great Mexican fighter the entire country gets behind and falls in love with.

the blood in your veins is your razza, your father is Peruvian, your mother Brazilian, just because they decided to have sseexx in China and you where born in a goddamn Chinese hospital and raised in China, doesn't mean you are Chinese

just wikied Danny's bio, father is from Naguabo PR and his mother from Bayamon PR (my hometown) danny doesn't have one single drop of american blood in him. Angel just Fckd her in Philly

People are failing to realize that nationality and ethnicity aren't necessarily one in the same. Danny is ethnically Puerto Rican. His nationality is American. Of course, Puerto Rico is a territory of The U.S anyway. So either way, he's really American. At the end of the day though, it really doesn't matter.

whatever. I always thought Danny's mother was American. Knowing that both of his parents are Ricans, its easy to see why we support Danny

Don't speak Spanish? who cares, this is boxing, not a spelling bee

he has the puerto rican boxer puncher style too
