hunter might just be laying the ground work cause he cant do as well with Khan as Roach did. after all Roach is tried and tested and without ward Hunter does not have much else.

Nah, look what Lamont did to him. didn't have to hurt him to show the world that Khan's boxing IQ is non-existent.

Agreed Roach Championship credentials go all the way back too, Marlon Starling
And Virgil Hill, and hes trained atleast two Dozen Champions.

Virgil Hunter other then Ward has achieved little, serious miscalculation in hiring Hunter.

But at the sametime it is quite clear Khan has absolutely no dedication to Boxing and is more concerned with being a Celebrity......!

Clearly you do, otherwise you would not be commenting on him....! Only thing Khans good at is keeping his name out there and getting people talking about him. If Ajose Olusegun was taught how to Market himself properly he would have made alot more money.

Khan was given too much, too quick.

The worst thing that happened to him in retrospect was winning the silver medal.

He's done a lot when you consider he's younger than James Degale. But he's past his peak

This. Khan is one of the most talked about boxer's, he's done an amazing job. Everything he does, or say's, generates a decent interest. Just take a look at YT videos[Esnews, fighthype or fighthub] with Amir as the title of the video, his videos generate over 10k views while others don't even get over five hundred views.

As for Olu, leave him be, just speaks volumes about him as a person. One minute he say's, 'Who cares?", and later makes a thread about him in the general forum.

I can see where you're coming from, but without that medal, he would never have had the media attention or interest of the general public. To be fair to Khan, he deserved all the attention he received, it's absolutely remarkable what he accomplished at 17 years old.

Said this before, but Virgil's a top guy, too good for someone like Khan and someone who's desperate for Khan to succeed. I hope Khan matures and doesn't ruin Virgil's reputation because he's given Khan everything that he has asked of him, but that's probably expecting too much from, Amir. If Khan loses against Alexander, which is highly likely, I hope the boxing critics blame Khan instead of Virgil.

Khan should get serious and move to the states for a couple of years and totally dedicate himself to boxing. Isn't his new missus American? It's an easy move then. Just move there and give it 100%.

So far his performances are getting poorer and poorer. He was one whisker away from being KTFOd against non puncher Diaz. Does he still have the hunger and desire?

Totally agree with alot of the views on Khan going backwards under Hunter. You cant all of a sudden at this stage in a fighters career turn them into a defensive master. Alexander will knock him out, watch. He is too open, trying to learn as this new complicated moves put upon him by Hunter.

Khan should retire before he gets permanent brain damage. He clearly a moron so cant afford to lose any;- he very lucky he asain as they will look after his finances on his behalf otherwise he would end up as previous fighters old and broke.

Guy wants to be celebrity but doesnt understand the moment his boxing career over he will be forgotton..

Shame, all that talent being wasted but lets not forget he has had a very good career already especially for his age
