Who agrees? I'm gonna guess not many, but not many thought Lucas would be beat also...

Like Lemiuex,Abrham,Matthysse all guys who were grossly overated due to devastating KO power, GGG will be exposed soon...

Now don't get it twisted,Lucas and GGG are good fighters but not UNBEatable boxers who will KO anyone in there way,as there fans would like to think... The same guys who hyped Lucas are hyping GGG,boxing fans who are in love wit power...

Lucas fans ignored that he struggled with Devon and Judah's movement, the signs were there. Rosado, showed GGG can be frustrated and outboxed if u give him movement...

Lucas fans were saying he had Elite boxing skill, smh when it was clear he is a pressure fighter wit power, dude had no plan b for Garcia... GGG fans are saying the same thing,he has elite boxing skill blah blah blah, nope he is a pressure fighter wit power like Lucas...

GGG will be beat very soon, at the hands of someone like Chavez,Quillin,Ward,Froch

  2. GGG has a great amateur background and hits much much harder than untalented journeyman brawler Lucas Matthysse.

All about levels. Though both are KO punchers, GGG is at least one level above what Matthysse could do. He's the rare KO puncher that hasn't fallen in love with his power to the point where he neglects the other aspects of his game. He's a special talent. Matthysse, with all due respect, isn't at that kind of level.

Golovkin will not lose for at least another 3-4 years.

first of all, lucas matthysse is a good fighter, who beat several good opponents and arguably beat top opponents, no shame in that. he happened to lose to a blue chip fighter in danny garcia. no shame in that either. it's crazy how guys get tossed to the wolves in the aftermath of a loss. fickle ass fans.

GGG is a class above Lucas, skillwise, to top that he hits just as hard

you can't call that being exposed, both guys had their moments, it was a close fight, the better man won, regardless of Lucas' eye swelling up

Yes, because a puncher on a winning streak loses a fight, that means other boxers packing a big punch will lose their next bouts also...
Imagine if Matthysse were Kazakh, that would be irrefutable proof :patsch

And Kovalev is about to lose to, because he punches hard, like Matthysse...

They're all the same boxers obviously...

    Really? Jr? Quillin?

Though Froch and Ward would be excellent fights, even if GGG was to lose, it would hardly be what I'd call an 'exposure'. Losing to the two top guys in the division above your own, one of whom is considered P4P no. 2 ?

Hmm..all fights I'd love to see though. Win or lose, I want to see GGG challenge himself, and see just how good he could be.

Seems loike a lotta folk want Golovkin to lose just because of the despair it will elicit it the more annoying members of his fanbase. Me, I'm just along for the ride and hoping it's gonna be an exciting one...

You can put all Mexicans and all Hispanic fighters in front of GGG and he will devour them all. Of course GGG will be beaten someday but that doesn't mean he's exposed. He is very talented and hits like a light heavy. You're just mad cause some Asian dude is dominating the division instead of a Hispanic. Your best bet is Chavez Jr but he'll beat easy by GGG. Now go suck your thumb and log off :hi::hi::hi:

GGG along with Floyd, Ward and Rigo are the ATG fighters of this era.
