He's saying that boxing fans who are truly interested in boxing would love it, but the public at large would not.

There is no doubt that Golovkin is a great fighter, but he has so far failed to make a name for himself to the majority of people who actually buys PPV.
A relatively unknown Kazakh which best win is against Macklin is never going to be a PPV success, regardless of skill.
Makes no financial sense at all. Massive loss for Showtime.

I cannot blame you for being wrong and misinformed. You clearly have become heavily invested in GGG emotionally. I didn't intend to hurt your feelings, make you angry, or further damage your self esteem. Please try to understand my criticism of GGG is not a personal attack on you. Please take a deep breath and calm down.

 I asked you what I was wrong about, you refused to answer, giving a similar generic sob story. Misinformed lol, we haven't even gotten that far since you're stumbling on the ABCs, like making sense. Why haven't you made that poll yet? Should I do it for you?

That cut happened early. That lucky ass cut pretty much ended the fight. If rosado cannot see out of one eye what the hell else do you expect? If it was not for the cut, Rosado by KO. Gabriel will get a rematch. Once he starches Kid chocolate he should get another shot.

Mayweather has no mandate to fight middleweights, super middles and light heavys. They all need to quit..

Im saying, nobody outside of the boxing community knows who GGG is, he is from a small country and has no fan base, and hasn't fought anyone anyway. What's the point? I think he's a hell of a fighter, but at this point he is a hype with a 20lb. weight advantage.

May's detractors won't be happy until he fights Marco Huck.

GGG is slightly unknown to the casual fans and the other problem with this fight is Showtime will say HELL NO!.
They are not going to put ggg in with Mayweather to help build a fighter who is linked to HBO. Win or lose more people would know who he is and then he would go back to HBO and by an overnight PPV star.
Showtime and Golden boy will do their very best to keep the next 4 fights in house. NO DOUBT, Showtime did not give Floyd a record high contract to build up HBO fighters.

GGG is at HBO and Mayweather is at Showtime the fight most likely won't happen.

Not really worth responding to but...

    Proksa - cut.
    Rosado - cut.
    Ishida - cut.
    Macklin - cut.

Golovkin has razor blades in his gloves!

Not at this time. It's not a big money fight and he could lose that fight.

Golovkin is lucky this isn't ten years ago. Hopkins would have ended the Golovkin hype train before it started.
