Kell Brook is a bum. All he does is talk and talk and talk...

He has fought no one, he has 30 bum on his resume... he thinks he's on the elite level.... meanwhile his opponent got stopped by Paulie.... Paulie doesn't stop opponents for crying out loud... this is anything but a step up.... Eddie Hearn needs to seriously take a step back and see what he wants to do with this bum.. at the moment he is going no where.. he pulled out of the Alexander fight and ducked Timothy Bradley.... that says it all. The funny thing is a lot of Brits rate this guy... his career is like Amir Khan fighting 30 Carlos Molinas..... he has proved 0. Moment he steps wouldn't surprised me one bit if he gets sparked.... he just hasn't been built up properly

Come on guys, Hearn knows what he is doing. Senchenko is now recognised by casuals so its 'decent' stay busy fight in that respect which if he wins will likely pave the way to the loser of Alexander/Khan (the winner will be lead to mayweather in one way or another) and that fight would represent a 'big one' especially if it turned out to be Khan

jesus ,the guy aint Roberto Duran but calling him a bum is just plain stupid...i rate him as a very good boxer and easily a contender,whether or not he has the desire to be a world champion is another thing though..

 

A Huge fight would have been Devon, Bradley,Khan,Broner,Maidana,Thurman,hell even soto Karass.

If you understood the politics of boxing you would know that the Alexander team think Khan is an easier fight.
Kell is the mandatory and Alexander must fight Kell within 9 months which is before end of February 2014, unless he gets a unification fight.

However he is allowed to fight a voluntary defence, if the IBF agree, and if he wants to.

Whoever wins the voluntary defence, Khan or Alexander, must then fight Kell before end of February 2014.

Given that Alexander prefers to have a voluntary defence against Khan rather than fight Kell now, Kell needs to keep busy or risk suffering "ring rust".

In the circumstances who does he fight to keep busy who is a name and is at world level?

As Bent-nose has quite rightly pointed out, Senchenko is an ex world champion who has never been beaten. He had to withdraw due to a severe cut.

by continuing to fight bums he is becoming one.. he is not getting any younger and is almost 28... hasn't fought anyone... you become complacent after fighting bums...

Khan is not the easier fight and that's not why he's fighting Khan first... the world doesn't revolve around Kell Brook. Alexander is on record saying he feels the more skilled of the two is Khan before this fight was even scheduled... the reason he's going for Khan is because the winner is to get Mayweather... no one cares about Kell Brook.... he's not even in the picture at the moment.. whoever the winner is between Khan vs Alexader, if offered the Mayweatehr fight, will not go and honour the mandatory.... the mayweatehr fight is what everyone who is relevant wants

 

Mayweather will have no interest in fighting Alexander or Khan, for the simple reason that there is not enough money in it.

Mayweather fighting either of them is a non starter and I can't say that I blame him.
