    Hahaaaa damn.

This guy put the pressure on me. We went 3 rounds.

The first round was just me figuring out where all these punches were coming from lol.

I was trying to jab. But he was taller and had a longer reach. On top of that, he was much more experienced.

The second round I got a tip from my corner to go to the body. Amen
This round i started using a neat combo I learned. Jab to the body, then a right to the head.

Man, that combo saved my life. I was landing both punches at will. And my power earned me some respect. He was still putting pressure on but it was a little different now.
All the while, Im exhausted from the first round.

3rd round- More of the same pressure from my opponent, he was catching me A Lot. I was too tired too move, but when I did I had success.

Moving in and out of range, I caught him with 2 1-2's.

    Great learning experience.

Not sure what kind of style you prefer, but any time I am going up against someone with a lot of height and reach on me, I go to a swarmer/brawler type of style, moving in under their punches, getting close, and then striking and putting combos together as quickly and aggressively as possible.

Have fun and keep at it. If someone is bigger, stronger, faster, etc, that is the guy you want to box with. It will make you better.

Keep sparring and training and you'll keep improving. Sounds like you did pretty good for your first sparring.

For my first sparring I just got wild threw hay makers and got bloody nose and mouth.
