Moorer at Cruiser. Not that you asked, but maybe Haye at Heavy, more so at certain parts of Moorer's heavyweight career.
I take moorer at cruiser, young moorer before Forman even at heavyweight had good pressure and liked to have a dig, didnt back up either. against similar sized haye would be a good scrap.
Meh, I always forget Moorer skipped the Cruiser division, but yeah, I guess I'll still take him at this weight when he would theoretically be in better shape then he was for a ton of his fights at heavy

Even though Moore had a glass jaw, he'd be too slick and too skilled for Haye in either weight class.
At heavy MM is one of the few big names of the 90's I'd favor Haye to beat him. At cruiser I have no idea, because I don't know how his punching power would scale at 200 (or are we talking 190 as it was back then?).
I would of like to see Moorer vs Morrison. Ever notice how Tommy Morrison looked like Zack Morris from Saved By The Bell with a mullet haircut? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO2SirSH7Rg
I just dont think Moorer would adapt to Haye's speed and size. And Moorer was one of those guys who would take a punch to land one, and Haye aint getting hit in that manner. I like Haye to stop Moorer at HW, and cruise to a UD at CW.:think
Moorer was just as good as Haye in every department, but a better boxer, and a southpaw too. His problem was dedication and conditioning. Let's assume prime v prime, at cruiserweight, Moorer should win this.
Moorer could be inconsistent and of course was prone to big punchers as shown in his fights against Foreman and Tua. But Moorer had more than enough power himself to KO Haye. Haye in this era is used to fighting bigger slower men, his hand speed is very good for this era but not so impressive against the smaller faster fighters of the 90's. Moorer was fast and powerful like Haye but had better technique and work rate. I see Moorer's jab and pace troubling Haye and it leading him to stopping Haye in the second half of the fight.
