I said after the first 4 rounds you could have made a case for the score being 2-2 so what. Why does that make you appear pre menstrual? First round was a slow start from Chisora and Gerber had landed jabs at will, probably down to the emotional state Chisora was in. A close round that would easily have gone to Gerber if he was the home fighter. Needless to say the round where Gerber rocked Chisora twice with the two big straight rights was an easy round to score for Gerber too.

So there you go after 4 rounds there's an easy case to make the score 2-2 prior to the "TKO round".

Gerber threw a big right just prior to the stoppage that missed. It was a typical rubbish British stoppage and ruined a perfectly good fight yet again. Honestly it's at the stage now that if I were a coach bringing my fighter to England from abroad that anytime my fighter got stunned I would considered telling him to take a knee so as to stop the incoming British stoppage. Chisora at home against Wlad Klitschko actually stands a brilliant chance of catching the World title. All he has to do is throw a flurry of punches and even if they're all blocked there would still be a chance of a classic British stoppage.

Getting up after a KD and win by KO is to be commended , not ridiculed. Some ATG's never got up at all.

For those who say Audley- 3 rounds against a guy who was blown out in a round by Price who was demolished twice by crooked backed , old man Thompson.

Haye took three rounds because he placed money on a third round KO. If he hadn't, I have no doubt he would have ended things in Round 1.

It's true he doesn't have big KO power, but there aren't as many heavies that can put the pressure on like Chisora can. He will be in your face for 12 rounds forcing you to work at a pace you are not comfortable with. Most heavies do not have a high output, but they would need to work harder to keep Chisora off them. if he had a little more pop, with his pressure he would break down a lot of good fighters and be a force.

A fitter sharper Chisora against Vitali would have been interesting. He's gained some valuable experience with the fights he has had in recent years, so would have learnt a great deal. he is now maturing as a heavy. I think a a plodding Chisora will be easy pickings for Wlad, but a slimmed down, faster, sharper Chisora would be a bit of a nightmare for him. Not saying he can win, but could give him a world of trouble.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Del Boy. I like his pressure style and willingness to fight. He gave Vitali one of his hardest fights since Lewis, I was just sat there on Saturday thinking that he really could do with more pop. I'm not saying he's feather fisted or anything, he's got accumulative power, just not concussive power. He's definitely looking better though, it's good to see him genuinely taking things seriously now.

if gerber had chisora hurt, his punch resistance is greatly reduced from previous fights.
