Love all the groupie dickriders that make excuses for Garcia here saying it has no effect on the outcome.
You better believe that if Lucas pulled that **** and won a close fight they would be crying up a storm.

Unfortunately and conversely this thread has revealed more groupie dick riding apologists for Lucas. I think Lucas is awesome and I'd luv to see a rematch but he was beaten plainly put....the biased being expressed here is childish and theirs a blaitaint lack of objectivity being expressed here. The low blows where quite excessive but like I stated before on this thread and off if you have experienced boxing first hand you understand and accept the fact that Lucas was outclassed. Lets create a thread and edit in all the rabbit punches and yes low blows Lucas executed during the fight and best believe it will be labeled the same as this one.

 

I noticed your a vet like me I would think you would break down the fight properly to a grandular level you should notice the subtle adjustments and strategic dominance utilized through out the fight that ultimately gave gracia the victory.....while the impact of the low blows is up for debate the strategic advantages used by Garcia are pretty clear vividly transparent to those with a well trained boxing eye.

If you look at my history you would see that even in my post before i never implied Lucas would win the rematch.
I also said that i did not blame Danny for Weeks doing a shoddy job.

That said the fight was closer then a lot of people let on.
I believe the KD was completely bogus (clear as hell push) that could have been a Lucas 10 - 9 instead of a Garcia 10 - 8.

Add all those low blows which HAD to take a lot of steam out of Lucas and you could have a different result.

Garcia did show better adjustments so its entirely possible that even when fought fairly Garcia might do even better in the rematch.
That said the fight was close enough and the reffing terrible enough to have a immediate rematch.

What does annoy me is some of the rabid fanboys just proclaiming how clear of a Garcia win that was when it clearly was not, and a lot of these posters would be crying a absolute storm if the reverse had happened.

 

The reason why so many on here seem like "rabid fanboys" is because many people, myself included, were just sick of hearing how Matthysse would KO Garcia in one round, and how those picking Garcia were plain stupid.

Garcia is the one who did much better than what 99% of people here predicted. And this is part of the reason for someone going back and documenting all the low, questionable, and even legal punches into a video.

Matthysse is not some indestructible monster like he was proclaimed by his cult-like fans. And this is what hurts.

Tito was simply too strong for Vargas. Round one proved that when he slammed Vargas to the canvas with a left hook... NO low blow needed.

22 low blows?? ****... I watched the fight 3X already and there were really 1-2 LEGIT low shots... ONE landed on his THIGH in the 11...
