@daprofessor No need to get testy, just drawing a connection. Garcia vs Matthysse reminded me of Judah Cotto in some respects, just talking boxing. I'll leave the rabbit punching thread to you. And the punches Cotto landed on Judah below the belt were far from a great acting job by Judah. You mentioned BHop throwing shots which test the limits and then jumps on his opponents when the start complaining, which is exactly the point I was making, fighters do use those shots as a strategy. Of course it's not a Puerto Rico thing I've seen fighters of all ethnicities land low blows whether it's intentional or strategical, but once again, Garcia's recent fight with Matthysse brought back memories of the Judah Cotto fight.
"Is not a Puerto Rico thing" yet you start a thread titled "Low Blow Puerto Rico" I could see your agenda a mile away. And they call Angel a racist.
@Chango A little sensitive there are we? Agenda, really....don't know how my thread somehow screams racist, but whatever. You've got to admit, my thread title was a little catchy and it is at least on topic. I've explained myself already so if you lost something in translation, that's your problem.
Not sensitive, It's just funny how some of you guys cant get over that Danny won, the machine was made to look human and you guys are looking for any type of excuse to discredit the son of Angel.
This is all BS! Stop the crying! Mattysse was pushing Garcia downwards. Cotto is P4P boxing gentlemen, and when you are a body puncher you are prone to low/belt line punches more frequent taht the others. Tito on Vargas, not one person here can tell you for sure. As far as the wraps those were legal in 95% of the USA.
@Chango I'm not at the least bit hurt by Garcia's victory, and this might even come as a surprise to you, but I was actually rooting for Garcia. Don't think much of is father, but Garcia seems to be anything but "a chip off of the ol block". For the record, I've enjoyed watching him beat two fighters who I've always considered to be a little overrated in Kahn and Matthysse.
