Her only issue is she can't judge a fight for **** (she is a female after all), the Bradley- Pacquiao, Mayweather-Canelo scorecards were just honest mistakes most likely But she is nowhere near as bad as Carla Caiz, Matty Denkins and Gwen Adair, who are clearly corrupt scoring that fight for Chavez Jr. Surely they wasn't the only 3 people in the building who thought that Chavez won that fight. Put yourself in Vera shoes, you train all your life, for a big chance like this, risk your life in the ring. Conclusively get a career moment...then you find out the judges had already filled out the scorecards before the fight. Disgrace.
and vera was treated like absolute garbage. first the fight was at 162, then 165, and then 168. and then it was at 173, and all vera could do was sit back and watch, and all because he doesent have a name like chavez or a big promoter.
I scored it 96-94 Vera (as a Chavez fan). When I heard the scorecards I was sure Vera took it down. Another case of disgusting scoring. Vera won the fight and that's it.
96-94 Chavez was as generous as humanly possible in my opinion. A draw or one round to Vera are solid scores. The two judges that had it that wide are just assholes.
Have there been Press Scores released yet? Did hardly anybody give it to Chavez? Seems at the VERY MOST you can do is give Chavez a draw...
That's the same score I had. I cannot, under any circumstances see how a judge could see that as 98-92 Chavez. Chavez looked like ****, got pushed around the ring by a smaller, weaker guy. And I don't by this nonsense of giving Chavez rounds where he would land one quality shot at the end of the round after getting tagged the whole rest of the round, albeit with lighter blows.
I lost £1000 because of this ****. Vera was last of a 10-fight accumalator I had. Most winners were certs but had Vera to win on points. Devastated.
