He looked terrible against Kelly and that was at 126. From what I've heard Toney didn't turn up for that fight. Anyway I'm not disagreeing that Hamed would 99 times out of 100 get is ass kicked but he's in with a chance with his style. Look him on YouTube against Enrique Angeles if you've never seen him before at 122.
I think we are forgetting something here. You keep talking about Hamed's power.....what, you think that P4P Jones didn't hit hard? He was passively dropping LHW's. By passive, I mean he rarely went for the KO after MW because the fighters were bigger. The one time he did, Griffin, who as someone mentioned gave Jones a bit of trouble, was stopped in 1 round. You recall was Jones KO percentage was before LHW, which is past his best weight. Something like 31-0 with 28KO's. And Hamed was fast, but not even close to Jones fast P4P. He would be outgunned here significantly in handspeed, footspeed, and ring generalship to name a few.
Hamed was lightening fast in his early days but more with the single shot than the flurries Jones could produce.
Hamed, while fast, was never as fast with even a single shot of the upper echlon P4P speed guys like Jones and Taylor. Just like Jones, who had dynamite power P4P, was not on the level of Jackson and Hamed. Just my opinion. But believe me, if Barrera coulld avoid his shots, Jones would have countered him silly. And while that was not the best version of Hamed mind you, he had not decreased in speed and power from my view, just drive and motivation.
Hamed was way overhyped and protected first time in with a class act in his prime and he was given a lesson jones is in a different league altogether and i'm no big jones fan either just bein realistic
Jones at 160,168,175 and heavyweight was fast not for those weights just fast. He would be to fast for Hamed. Hamed's shots would hit air. They probbly ko jones if they landed but they wouldn't.
