Stevenson not generating much talk on the internet.

He looked impressive. He seems big for LHW too, so a move to cruiser and even HW seems like a possibility. Cloud simply had nothing for him and contrary to what HBO was trying to say, nothing more was revealed about Stevenson. It was pretty much just a showcase fight. We'll need to see him in with someone that will make him adjust and give him different looks.

 

What has not drinking and smoking got to do with it... (tongue-in-check comment i'm guessing) ?? does that make him a good person and absolve him of his past shenanigans? He looked pretty good though needs to drop the Clubber Lang look he aint that bad-ass just yet lol But he will drop Bellew quicker than a bad habit...

The guy is on a roll with two impressive victories in a very hot division. Several big money fights coming his way too. As others have said though - his past is dragging him down in terms of support. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for Kovalev (or anyone else for that matter) to knock him out brutally.

Where he fights isn't that important for Ward either since he hasn't lost more than 3 rounds to any opponent.

 

I'll be pulling for him not in spite of his past, but because of it.


I personally like to see people turn their lives around. Yeah he pimped and threatened a few hoes, and no one says it was OK. But they have jail sentences for that sort of thing.. and he served his. That's good enough for me if he stays clean. I'm certainly not going to condemn him forever.


It's OK for you guys to hold it against him, but just understand that there are some of us who won't.
