    Jamie had the chance to become mando for the WBC strap but he bottled it against Ryan Rhodes who went on to get a crack at Canelo.

    He looked great at certain stages in his career but lets be honest he was never fighting the greatest of opposition,his best win was over Macklin and Macklin was a novice at the time.

    Degale hasnt even had 20 fights yet,surely you wernt expecting him to become world champion this early.

    Hes still more or less a prospect.

    Stupid comment that. A. 'bottled it' - He was beat by a good fighter in a great fight at the end of his career. B. I SAID AN EASIER WINNABLE FIGHT AT HOME IN THE UK - How did you get from this to Saul Alvarez in Mexico?

    Nathan Cleverly. I remember back reading about him when BBC began giving him exposure due to doing his degree and everyone making out he was going to go places.

    What are you on about??

    He was knocked out by Rhodes in a fight he was supposed to win.

    Hence the term bottled it !!
